These road-worn and restless troubadours of the Ovens Valley lean as casually on their Americana influences as they would a gum tree at the river. Their sound is a nod to artists from Gram Parsons to Chris Stapleton, but their take on the genre is more a result of growing up in the bush than chasing gold records on Music Row.

Original songs; “Promising Dreams”, “Ovens Valley Pines” and “Victoria”, penned by founding member Sam McIntosh, speak to life's familiar themes of being unlucky-in-love and to the awe-inspiring beauty of their native high country. They are the sound of long winding roads, the solace of the bush and the stories of people living in small towns in rural Australia.

McIntosh’s charismatic vocal performance is backed up by the electrified country boogie and twanging four-on-the-floor rock’n’roll of band mates, Greg Whitehead (guitar/lapsteel), Max Hyland (Bull fiddle bass) and Chris Riley (Drum set), each bringing their personal influences, while kicking country music hallmarks with a well-worn Blundstone boot.
